PEOPLE
County government should improve everyday life! That means creating a safer, healthier and more vibrant region, so our kids want to live, work, and STAY here.
WORKFORCE AND JOBS
I know how important it is to recruit newcomers and keep people here. I’ll focus on supporting local jobs, strengthening education and workforce partnerships, and creating long-term opportunity for workers.
WORKING TOGETHER
I think what businesses need to grow here and what families want to stay here are typically one and the same. Working together, we can achieve efficiencies and affordability as a county.
RESPONSIBLE BUDGETING
I’ll bring a small business mindset to county government—spending responsibly, being transparent, and putting residents’ needs front and center, to maximize growth.
CORE SERVICES
County government should do the basics well—public safety and emergency management, health services, roads and bridges, maintenance of our natural resources, and essential services to residents.
VIBRANT COMMUNITIES
Dubuque County’s unique communities, natural beauty, and parks and recreation are what sets us apart in the region. I’ll support amenities that attract families, support tourism, and improve quality of life for residents.
